Bonnie is an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who has been playing the piano for over 20 years.  She has studied classical music under WKMS senior instructors Sandra Mitchell and Melodie Petersen for the past decade, and is certified with First Class Honours in Level 8 Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM).  She is currently preparing for her final Level 9 RCM practical examination, and aspires to continue to Level 10 and beyond.  

 

Alongside musical studies, Bonnie attended UBC Okanagan, and completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  She graduated into the pandemic in 2020, and is now a part-time registered nurse at Kelowna General Hospital.  

 

Learning is a lifelong commitment that deserves careful attention, and a willingness to try something new.  Bonnie has a passion for teaching all age levels, regardless of musical experience or abilities, and aims to cultivate a comfortable environment for students to express themselves artistically.  Lessons are offered in 30, 45 or 60 minutes intervals, and are taught in a private studio environment.
