Miriam is an accomplished singer, director, actor and teacher. She has been singing all of her life and loves to share this passion for music with people of all ages. She performs throughout the Okanagan singing southern gospel music and also directs and sings with a local gospel music group. Miriam studied theatre and television acting and performed on stages in Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and many places in between. Miriam earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education with a major in Fine Arts from the University of Lethbridge and worked as a school teacher in Alberta for several years where she shared her love of the fine arts with her many students as well as directingchildren’s choirs at every opportunity. Starting a youth vocal ensemble at the West Kelowna Music School is a dream come true and we are called, “Vox Forte! Youth Chorale Ensemble.”

If you love to sing, or think that you might like to sing, come out and sing with me on Mondays 5:00-6:00pm. You will learn to sing stronger & with confidence; you will learn about note values, rhythm, pitch, melody & harmony; and you will learn the joy of singing with a group.
