New Fall Group Classes

WKMS Children's choir - (ages 6-12) $175/11 classes

Join our fun and engaging choir for kids aged 6 to 12, where everyone is welcome—no auditions required!

We explore a variety of music while focusing on rhythm, pattern reading, part singing, and pitch.

Classes are led by our talented choir teachers, Sandra Mitchell and Kelsey Zachary.

Sessions are held on Fridays at 10:00 AM or 5:15 PM from September 19 to December 12 (please note there are no classes on October 10 and 31). Come be a part the music!

Cost is $175 for 11 classes/1 performance/music book

Class Piano - (ages 6-12) 12:30-1:15 $240/year, includes songbook for each student.        Students learn how to play in a group, how to improvise, improve their note reading, and become more comfortable at both ends of the piano! 

Violin Choir -(ages 8-12) 10-11 AM - $300/year, includes a book for each student! 

Students learn how to play in a group, how to listen to other players, and the fundamentals of chamber music, as well as build confidence and experience in performing and improvement in note reading and playing by ear!

Offered on select the following Saturdays throughout the term:  September 20, Oct 4, 25, Nov. 15, 29, Dec. 6, Jan 17, 31, Feb21, March 7, April 11, 25, May 9, 23, June 6 (15 classes total!)

Mini Maestros - (ages 3-5 years $15 per session) String Edition or Piano Edition

This music class is designed to be a positive, creative and exploratory first introduction to music for 3 to 5 year olds in a small group setting.The program incorporates Rhythm, Singing, Movement and Instrument exploration.  It is designed to provide great preparation for more traditional piano lessons but  is  beneficial for children who will go on to study any other instruments too as they will be exploring pitch, patterns and rhythm.  I will be teaching the Piano Edition.Classes are 45 minutes long, and run in 8-10 session blocks with September, January and April start dates.
