Melissa Perry
Melissa was born with a love for music and started taking formal piano lessons at the age of 6, continuing all the way through university.
Melissa has a certificate in Elementary Piano Pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Music and enjoys guiding students through their RCM exams. She is an Orton Gillingham tutor and brings this multi-sensory learning approach to her lessons. Melissa believes in teaching to the whole musician — this includes learning to read music as well as practicing ear training so that the science and the art of music within each student is nourished and developed.
Melissa has immersed herself in online music teacher training during the past year and is currently offering a high quality online experience for students wishing to take piano lessons via Zoom.
She is also offering online Orton Gillingham tutoring for dyslexic students.
